Que a comunicação é importante e fundamental em nossas vidas, todos sabemos. No entanto, na maioria das vezes não conseguimos nos comunicar da forma mais adequada, e aquilo que deveria nos beneficiar e facilitar a nossa vida, passa a ser algo pesado, e muitas vezes, nos causa muitos problemas.

Desde muito cedo aprendemos a falar de forma indireta, por vezes agressiva, onde acontecem ataques, defesas e julgamentos. Junto com a nossa fala carregamos muita emoção, e aquilo que não conseguimos dizer de forma transparente e honesta, acaba saindo de maneira distorcida. Utilizamos ironia, sarcasmo e deboche para proteger nossos reais desejos, achando que com isso chegaremos a algum lugar, e na realidade, ficamos cada vez mais longe de nos comunicarmos com harmonia e assertividade.

Com isso não falo que devemos ser ingênuos na forma de nos comunicarmos, nos colocando em algumas situações delicadas por agirmos com demasiada sinceridade, citando como exemplo uma reunião de negócios. O que falo é que podemos nos comunicar nos desarmando, falando o que queremos, como nos sentimos, de forma empática e compassiva.

A comunicação não violenta evidencia o quanto podemos magoar e ferir através do que dizemos, e o contrário também é verdadeiro. De acordo com Marshall Rosemberg, fundador da comunicação não violenta, ela vem para nos mostrar que por traz de todo comportamento existe uma necessidade e é esta necessidade que podemos comunicar. Ao invés de dizermos para nosso cônjuge: “você sempre me deixa sozinha!”, podemos dizer: “você tem trabalhado muito, sinto a sua falta!”. É uma forma de comunicação mais autêntica e desarmada, onde desligamos o “modo ataque ou defesa”, para uma maneira mais objetiva e responsiva.

Mudar a forma como nos comunicamos é um processo que exige uma consciência de que a forma atual utilizada não tem sido satisfatória. Se você não se sente compreendido ou ouvido, pode ser que não esteja se comunicando da forma mais assertiva. Pegue a responsabilidade para você, não espere que o outro mude para você mudar. Ao se desarmar, você verá que o outro também se desarma, e assim se cria uma atmosfera mais adequada para uma boa comunicação! Vamos praticar?
