Chegou dezembro e com ele, um “pacote” de sentimentos frente à retrospectiva que fazemos ao nos darmos conta que o ano está acabando. Último mês de um longo e, ao mesmo tempo rápido ano que está sendo concluído. “Vai dar tempo para… ? “Não vou conseguir fazer tudo o que planejei! Nem vi o tempo passar! Nossa, tomara que esse ano termine de uma vez!” Genericamente nos passam a imagem de que o período natalino é uma época de repleta alegria, muita felicidade. Porém, o que se percebe é ser um momento em que sentimos grande instabilidade emocional.

O colorido e a vivacidade transmitida pela decoração, luzes, apresentações e reuniões de família, tornam o momento festivo e compartilhado com alegria. Porém, estes podem se transformar em momentos tristes e difíceis de suportar devido ao sentimento de saudade deixada por perdas, solidão. Para outros é um período de trabalho excessivo, estresse, muitos compromissos, gastos exorbitantes.

O importante é aceitarmos e nos envolvermos com os compromissos natalinos na medida certa, sem transformar esse período em um fardo e sim fazê-lo uma época de reflexão, análise, avaliação da vida. Devemos nos permitir estar tristes ou saudosos. Esses sentimentos são passageiros e, na maioria dos casos acabam, ao se retornar a rotina cotidiana. O ideal é que sejamos resilientes, buscando estabelecer metas, desafios, propósitos para a próxima época que vai iniciar. É conveniente que cada um encontre um significado próprio para essa celebração, não criando altas expectativas acerca do ser feliz que as redes sociais e meios de comunicação divulgam de forma intensa.

A dica é minimizar as expectativas. Exercitar o pensamento positivo, lembrar o que ocorreu de bom, evitando desejos irrealizáveis. Reinventar a forma que você comemora o Natal, tornando esse momento uma festividade normal. Terminado esse tempo, a rotina cotidiana é retomada. Deixar de lamentar o passado buscando fazer pequenos projetos, organizando o próprio tempo para realizar seus propósitos e viver de forma mais otimista.
