Trabalhar demais não é bonito e pode ser patológico
Que grande notícia recebemos nesse mês de janeiro de 2022. A Organização Mundial da Saúde
reconheceu o Burnout como uma psicopatologia relacionada ao trabalho. Ainda que muitos
digam que nossa legislação trabalhista já houvesse dado esse reconhecimento, em ganhos de
causas a pessoas que comprovassem a incapacidade relacionada ao trabalho, o
reconhecimento com a criação de um código internacional de doenças, garante o direito pelo
acolhimento devido ao sujeito, sem que seja necessária a protelação de um processo
burocrático moroso, e a exposição de uma pessoa que já está em sofrimento e se vê numa
briga judicial para reparar danos.
O diagnóstico de Burnout já é difícil pois até que a pessoa consiga compreender que sua perda
de produtividade e qualidade, em nada tem a ver com malandragem, preguiça, procrastinação
ou desmotivação à empresa, e sim porque estamos inseridos em uma cultura de que o excesso
de trabalho é bonito e passa a sensação de insubstituição.
O diagnóstico clínico é importante, pois contém alguns sintomas da doença que confundem o
paciente, como sintomas de gripe recorrente, aumento de pressão arterial e perda de
qualidade no sono. Não se culpe por não conseguir dar conta das suas atribuições, peça auxílio
à sua gestão e colegas. Além disto, demonstre respeito ao seu corpo e seus limites fisiológicos.
Pedir ajuda, nas tarefas rotineiras não é sinal de incapacidade, mas de cansaço.
